The Manager is looking like a Ghost Cat for #caturday!

As you can I have been working hard to add new items to my ETSY store. Inspired by the garden and a dear friend whose little dogs are very dear to her.

This morning as I was walking around the garden path I discovered a rather unusual fungus. See it here:

The Manager remains unimpressed by both the fungus and the rain this morning. Time to get back inside where treats await!

Recommended by the Manager-Mink Cat Toys! I found some Vintage mink trim at an estate sale-lovely items from the 50s and the 60s. They are turning up in the oddest places. On the bed of course, and also atop the bathroom counter, on the keyboard, under the winter boots, on the window sills, pretty much everywhere!

So head on over the my ETSY site and pick up some for your feline friends. No live mink have been hurt in this endeavor! Also no catnip 'cause we don't like catnip around here, so if you do you'll need to rub it on yourself. Manager Approved.

NOW The Manager is happy. . .  after all he matches this new pendant/keychain. Of course he will tell you he posed for it, and picked out the colors, and selected just the right crown. So now of course he wants more, more more! So I guess it's back to the studio for me.

I'm working on some new designs featuring our favorite furry friends. I found this adorable vintage advertisement and one thing just led to another! There will be a whole series of these with personalized images as well. Not to mention the feline variety in order to keep The Manager happy. Check out my ETSY store to see this and lots more!

 We had a hard frost last night and the garden has been decorated for winter. I took a tour this morning and got some great shots of the last roses still hanging on-or maybe waiting for spring.

I love the way the frost "paints" highlights on the leaves-but I am ready for Spring already!

Trying to sort out some Vintage to create some new designs and am having a bit of help from the Manager this morning. I think that means I may have some felines influencing the next release. I've been working on a few things for some folks in the upcoming  Rose City Classic  Dog Show, and evidently The Manager is none too happy about the canine theme.

Maybe I can sneak in a couple photos later regarding the canines!

A New Beginning

It's cold outside and I've been working hard to create some lovely necklaces in the studio lately. The Bees seem to demand to be heard! I've snuck in a few Fleur-de-Lis as well. So now I have a new etsy site to sell my creations as well as this blog-still working on it-Pinterest, Indulgy and Facebook. It's a lot of work to start off the New Year, and I hope you enjoy all things Alchemal!

This is just one of a whole bunch of Organic Lavender Sachets I also have on my etsy site. All the lavender is from my garden-totally organic. They are constructed from a collection of Vintage 1920-1930's French fabrics I have been collecting for years. They are made so you can hide a few important things inside as well-maybe a passport for your next trip?

Now it's time to get back to work in the studio, I am working on some new ideas I'll be sharing in the next couple days.
